Biography
Linda Abramson is a graduate of Chapman University with a masters degree in Counseling Psychology. She has been in private practice as a licensed marriage and family therapist for over twenty years and has worked in the mental health field for over twenty five years. Her work experiences include positions with the County of Orange Social Services Agency, Community Service Programs (CSP) Youth Shelter, Cypress College Adult Education, Childhelp Group Homes and LivHome, an eldercare agency. She has extensive experience in working with children, families, teens, adults and seniors with a wide range of issues.
Specialties include treatment of depression and anxiety, grief and loss, families in transition, childhood disorders, addiction recovery, parenting, caregiving issues and post traumatic stress. She has lectured and presented workshops on Child Sexual Abuse, Parenting, Symptoms of Depression in Teens, Stress, Successful Job Skills and Careers in Psychology.
